Real estate report in Villamblard.
Elodie Goncalves from the agency HERE Dordogne sends me to a real estate report in Villamblard, a place I already know a little. The property is not necessarily very easy to find but I am starting to get used to the houses here in the Dordogne. Luckily I don't have the address but a GPS point, otherwise I think I would still be there.
From the outside, it doesn't look like much. I ring the light switch, the gate opens, and I discover a real little paradise. It's a delight to behold. The farmhouse has been completely renovated, the garden is magnificent, and the pool is simply immense. I've already fallen in love with this place, and I haven't seen the inside yet...
A highly original entrance leads to the office on the right and the staircase leading to the mezzanine. The living/dining room is large and very bright. It is the realm of stone and beams. The kitchen is immense, large enough to accommodate a family table in addition to the central island.
The hallway leads to the three downstairs bedrooms (and bathroom), a staircase leads up one level to a dormitory. A hallway leads to an additional bedroom and the bathroom.
The estate includes an outbuilding that was not photographable at the time I went there but large enough to make additional accommodation, a huge garage with its adjoining workshop. It is a real marvel that has just slipped into the catalog of Here Dordogne.
