Trémolat is a charming, typically Périgord village made entirely of stone, built around its church and bordering the cingle of the same nameIt is located near Limeuil, also a remarkable village (the panoramic gardens are breathtaking).
There are some good restaurants in Trémolat, and life seems very peaceful there. It's no wonder it's a popular tourist destination.
The house I'm going to photograph looks like a family home, simple but sturdy, built to last. When you take the driveway leading to the house, you first pass a second house that must have been a farm. The exterior is in good condition, but the interior needs some renovation work. Then there are barns and garages. To the left of the house is an old drying shed, which, while it looks watertight, also needs some minor work.
The house has two floors. On the ground floor, an entrance leads to the living room/lounge on the left and a large kitchen (with a shower room) on the right. Each room has doors or windows opening onto both sides of the house. Upstairs, there are two large bedrooms and a shower room. On the second floor, there are also two large bedrooms with a shower room. Enough space to accommodate quite a few people.
Besides, this house smells like a vacation home...
