Grand-Brassac Real Estate
Real estate report in Grand-Brassac.
Céline Cordeiro of Espaces Atypiques Dordogne commissioned me to produce a real estate report in the village of Grand-Brassac. The subject of the assignment was a colorful wooden villa.
The house is part of a small hamlet located outside the village. In fact, I should say THE houses, because the villa has a large stone outbuilding that has been renovated and converted into a gite. The villa overlooks a beautiful hilly landscape of fields, meadows, and forests. It is very pleasant and particularly quiet. The interior of the villa, as you can see in the photos, is spacious and bright. Unlike the particularly colorful exterior, the interior is immaculate.
The owner explained to me that the exterior paintwork was done as is done in Nordic countries. Flour is mixed with the paint to ensure greater longevity and, above all, better color retention. You either love it or you hate it! I love it...
