Damien therefore invited me to a rather unusual report: a completely renovated castle whose foundations date back to the 12th century.
Admittedly, this isn't the first castle I've photographed, but this one is truly out of the ordinary. Firstly, due to its geographical location: it's located on a promontory itself perched on a hill, which gives the castle a dominant position over the entire landscape. The castle is surrounded by 60 hectares of forest and it has:
- a huge wine cellar converted into a gym, swimming pool, bar, garage and workshop
- a barn with the false air of a drying room
- a dovecote
- 7 fully renovated outbuildings that can accommodate a high-end gîte activity (23 suites).
On the castle side, everything has been renovated with very high-end materials.
